The undersides of mushroom caps become the petals of a botanical rosette. Broad fans radiate around a small geometric center, while leaves and little mushrooms create a second rhythm between them. The unusual viewpoint makes familiar woodland shapes feel almost floral.
Try a warm-to-cool color sequence around the rosette, or repeat the same palette in each fan. Lighter gill sections can alternate with richer ones to suggest depth. Work from the center outward and let the small mushrooms provide a contrasting accent.
